Students reaction varies, some enthusiastically embrace the opportunity to be creative, some cringe from having to write another completely separate essay that they won’t be able to reuse for other applications. Wake Forest asks “Think of things that fascinated you when you were 10 years old – what has endured?” Love them or hate them, these kinds of essays are a growing trend.
